NoWalls Fitness...

is a community-based inclusive fitness and social recreation program offering coach-led group training for individuals of all abilities.

Our programs support physical health, confidence, independence, and social connection in a safe, welcoming environment — without segregation or labels.

Who Our Programs Are Designed For
NoWalls programs are appropriate for:

  • Adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who can participate safely in group fitness with minimal to moderate support

  • Individuals seeking structured social recreation and wellness activities

  • Homeschool and mixed-ability youth participating in inclusive physical education

  • Adults looking for health-first, supportive fitness without intimidation

Participants should be able to:

  • Follow simple group instructions

  • Move independently or with minimal assistance

  • Participate safely in a structured, coach-led fitness environment

HOW IT WORKS

NoWalls offers coach-led group fitness classes designed to be structured, predictable, and supportive.

Class sizes vary by program and typically range from 5–15 participants, with a maximum of approximately 20 participants per class. All sessions are led by trained coaches and designed to allow for individual pacing, visual and verbal instruction, and appropriate support as needed.

All participants begin with our Foundations onboarding, which introduces:

  • Basic movement patterns

  • Class flow and gym expectations

  • Safety guidelines and coaching cues

Workouts emphasize:

  • Proper form and body awareness

  • Controlled range of motion

  • Simple, repeatable exercises

  • Gradual progression based on readiness

Everyone trains together — at their own level — within a structured group setting.

Coaching & Supervision

  • All NoWalls classes are coach-led and safety-focused.

  • As class size or participant support needs increase, additional coaching support is provided as appropriate to maintain a safe and engaging environment. Coaching coverage is adjusted based on:

    • Group size

    • Activity type

    • Participant needs

  • This flexible, needs-based approach ensures participants receive appropriate guidance while remaining part of an integrated community setting.

Foundations for Strength Training

All new members who plan to participate in weight and resistance training begin with our Foundations process.

Foundations is designed to:

  • Teach proper form and technique for strength and resistance exercises

  • Assess range of motion (ROM) and movement control

  • Establish an appropriate starting level of resistance

  • Introduce safe progression standards used across NoWalls workouts

Foundations allows our coaches to ensure each participant is training safely, confidently, and at the right level before increasing intensity or resistance.

Some members may complete Foundations in a single session, while others may benefit from additional time to build confidence and consistency.

How Strength Progression Works at NoWalls

At NoWalls, progression follows a health-first sequence:

  1. Form – Learn and demonstrate proper technique

  2. Range of Motion – Move well through safe, controlled ROM

  3. Consistency – Perform movements with control and confidence

  4. Resistance – Gradually add weight when appropriate

This approach helps maximize results while minimizing risk of injury or burnout.

How This Applies to Inclusive Programming

Foundations ensures that all participants — including IDD adults — are set up for success in strength-based workouts.

Participants who are not yet ready for certain resistance exercises may continue with:

  • Bodyweight movements

  • Modified resistance options

  • Alternative group workouts (B.A.M., G.R.I.T., Rhythm & Movement)

Everyone trains together — with individualized coaching support as needed.

Inclusive Youth Fitness & Homeschool Program

 Movement, Confidence. Belonging.

 

At NoWalls Fitness, we offer an inclusive youth fitness and homeschool PE program designed for children and teens of all abilities, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Our program focuses on movement confidence, coordination, strength, and social connection in a positive, supportive group environment — without pressure, comparison, or intimidation.

Who This Program Is For

This program is designed for:

  • Homeschool students

  • Youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities

  • Neurodivergent youth

  • Youth who thrive in smaller, supportive group settings

  • Youth who benefit from clear structure, movement variety, and encouragement

Participants should be able to:

  • Follow simple group instructions

  • Move independently with minimal to moderate coaching support

  • Participate safely in a structured fitness environment

We meet kids where they are — and help them build confidence from there.

 

G.R.I.T.: Games, Recreation and Inclusive TeamPlay

Each session includes a variety of inclusive, adaptable activities, such as:

  • Cooperative games and team challenges

  • Recreational sports-style activities (no tryouts, no pressure)

  • Movement games that build coordination, balance, and agility

  • Rhythm-based and creative movement

  • Social play that encourages communication and teamwork

Every activity is designed so participants can join in at their own level while still being part of the group.

 

Coaching & Support

GRIT sessions are led by trained coaches who specialize in inclusive, play-based movement.

  • Clear demonstrations and simple cues

  • Positive reinforcement and encouragement

  • Emphasis on safety, participation, and fun

  • Coaching support adjusted based on group size and needs

As participation grows, additional coaches are added to maintain a supportive environment.

Our Clovis fitness studio welcomes individuals seeking inclusive fitness, adaptive group training, and IDD-friendly exercise programs in a structured, professional setting.

Program Design & Coaching Support

NoWalls Fitness provides inclusive group training designed for adults of varying abilities, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who can participate safely in a small-to-medium group setting.

Participants train alongside our general membership when appropriate, with:

  • clear coaching cues

  • consistent class structure

  • modified movement options

  • emphasis on form, range of motion, and control

Group Size & Coaching Ratio

  • Typical group size: 5–15 participants

NoWalls Fitness partners with regional centers and support agencies to provide inclusive fitness services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Program rates align with standard community membership pricing

  • Services are delivered in an inclusive group fitness environment

  • Billing is coordinated through approved Purchase of Service (POS) authorizations

Rates are consistent across participants, in accordance with Usual & Customary guidelines.

Most adult classes are eligible; select advanced sessions may be excluded for safety.

 

Youth & Homeschool P.E. Program

Includes two structured P.E. sessions per week.
This program does not include access to adult fitness classes.

All programs are delivered in a coach-led, inclusive group environment.
Pricing is consistent across participants and aligns with Usual & Customary community rates.

 

CVRC & Agency-Supported Participation

For participants supported through CVRC or other agencies, services follow the IDD Adult Fitness Membership structure and are invoiced through authorized Purchase of Service (POS).
